BigBand BMR® (Broadband Multimedia Service Router) - The recognized benchmark platform for network delivery of video services, and the foundation of digital video broadcast and transport services on any kind of broadband network. The high density BMR1200 holds up to eight I/0 cards and the compact BMR100 holds two I/O cards.
BigBand BME® (Broadband Multimedia Service Edge) - A modular platform for the edge processing and modulation of switched video services such as VOD and switched broadcast.

Solutions
Switched Broadcast - Sends programs to subscribers only in areas where the programs are being watched in real-time, instead of sending everyone all programs, with dramatic bandwidth efficiency gains.
Digital TV Management - Solution suite that enables bandwidth-efficient delivery of SDTV and HDTV, and supports standards-based ad splicing, conditional access and a broad range of other digital TV applications.
Deep Digital Transport - Evolutionary transport capabilities of the BigBand platforms enable significant operational benefits by consolidating headends and support high availability network configurations such as redundant facilities and fiber ring topologies.
Digital Simulcast - Converts analog content to digital, and provides both versions from the network edge, allowing subscribers with digital televisions or digital set-top boxes to receive all content digitally, and subscribers with legacy devices to receive basic programming in analog formats.
Distributed VOD - Innovative multimedia processing and GigE transport capabilities give an operator flexibility to create any of a variety of hybrid VOD topologies that use centralized and local storage/sourcing of content.
